Lets see Northstowe push the boundaries on eco and sustainable living – a worthy cause which could make a huge sucess of this building project for both the developers and the local communities.
The Northstowe Area Action plan (NAAP) made it a legal requirement that Northstowe should be an exemplar eco town – lets hope European/ Scandinavian house builders will get involved with this new town development and really push the boundaries on eco and sustainable living in the 21st Century. With Northstowe’s proximity to Cambridge, London and Stansted Airport this land is highly valuable and there can be no excuse for not ensuring that the highest standards are set for this supposed eco-town. This prospect really could be very exciting for us all.
