The Memorial Window and the Book of Remembrance were dedicated at a service at All Saints’ in November 1993.
The Book of Remembrance contains the names of the 72 Squadron personnel who fell in World War 1 and the 1011 who died in WW11. It is bound in navy goatskin with Japanese end papers and doublures, the edges are rough gilt with headbands sewn to match the Squadron’s colours, and with the Squadron’s Crest tooled on the front using coloured onlaid leather with gold and blind tooling. The Book rests in a cabinet constructed in selected English oak. The front and side glass panels are engraved with inscriptions relating to the Squadron’s RFC and RAF losses.
