Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park, London

On 28th June the Queen unveiled the memorial to over 55,000 airmen of Bomber Command who died in WWII.

Cow and woman found in Cambridgeshire Anglo-Saxon dig

Archaeologists excavating an Anglo-Saxon cemetery in Oakington say that the discovery of a woman buried with a cow is a “genuinely bizarre” find.
