Last week saw the reopening of the Black Bull pub after extensive building and refurbishment work. A popular Chinese take-away, as well as a pub, it is hard to remember that the Black Bull pub is a very old landmark and part of the social life of Longstanton. Cock-fighting is recorded as having taken place there.
