For over 150 years the collection has accumulated a vast amount of local archival material. LDHS ensures that where possible a copy of new booklets etc. are donated to the Cambridgeshire Collection. There is considerable material held at the Central Library in Cambridge as well as elsewhere. If in doubt as to what can be found at the Cambridgeshire Collection in Cambridge or at the Record Office in Ely, do give both organisations a ring so they can direct you to the most suitable venue for your needs.
