The Grange St Michael’s – A 17th Century ? property thought to be built on the site of French Lady’s Manor. (one of Longstanton’s smaller “sub” manors. Once owned by Salmon Linton brother of Willima Linton of Westwick Hall. If I remember correctly Salmon Linton purchased this house in 1828. Lived in by his son (also called Salmon Linton) it was “mortgages” from the LInton’s living here that resulted in the downfall of John Linton and the forced sale of both The Manor, Longstanton and ultimately Westwick Hall. See the booklets in LDHS arhives.
