Old postcard of High Street Longstanton. 1924?
The council houses on the left were the first to be built in Longstanton.Some littel thatched cottages were demolished to make way for the new “modern” houses. Brookfield House drive is just visible on right. I am not sure of the date as I thought these houses were built in the early thirties. Perhaps I meant to write c 1934?
