Phase 1: the former Hatton Farm/ golf course site; Phase 2: the site of RAF Oakington/Oakington Barracks and Phase 3: RAF Oakington/ Oakington Barracks and Oakington & Westwick names associated with the land before the arrival of the airfield.
As building has now commenced at Northstowe, South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) is encouraging the local community and other stakeholders to put forward suggestions for street names in readiness for when the house builders come on site. In order to assist this process, Longstanton Parish Council will be collating suggestions for street names to be reviewed at their meeting on 12th December 2016.
To this end, all names will need to be submitted to parish.clerk@longstantonvillage.org by 28th November 2016.
