THE LDHS AGM AND THE FIRST TALK OF THE AUTUMN SEASON TAKES PLACE ON FRIDAY 6 SEPTEMBER AT THE VILLAGE INSTITUTE, HIGH STREET, LONGSTANTON. The talk will commence at 8 pm or shortly afterwards so non-members can arrive after the AGM if they wish. Please note that the October talk will be presented by Ian Hunter and will cover Northstowe and what can be learnt from previous new towns and the Garden City Movement. This talk will take place at the Pathfinder School, Northstowe phase 1. There is a charge of £ 2 per person for non-members. Refreshments are served afterwards.

District District is defined as consisting of Northstowe and the village of Oakington and Westwick. It can also include the area associated with the South West Fen Edge and our local tracks and by-ways, so the interactions between local communities can be properly understood..
