Cmdr. E Linton lives in Australia and is the descendent of I believe Salmon Linton brother to William Linton who lived in The Manor Longstanton and built the Georgian front and who then returned to Westwick c 1829 and built the Westwick Hall we see today. These photos were taken whilst the Burdett family still lived in the house and it was very much in “original” condition. Since these photos were taken Westwick Hall has undergone major refurbishment and in Feb 2010 it is still on-going!
