Hilary Stroude Collection 2006 – ? (Images taken before 11th May 2007 are recorded as Hilary Stroude Collection and the copyright remains with me.) Images taken from 12th May 2007 are recorded as Images by Hilary Stroude and copyright has been given to LDHS. (But I still retain the right to use the images I have taken as required.) If I am unsure of an image date on these uploads I am just putting my best guess. However, this may not be accurate and they may either be in the Hilary Stroude Collection or Images by Hilary Stroude categories. The reason for retaining the copyright of the Hilary Stroude Collection is that the images form only a part of a wider collection of photographs. Predominantly taken before all the changes caused to this area by development the images are an important record of what went before, and as such the whole collection may be very important and needs to be kept safely for the long term. This is a massive job outside the LDHS project. In the future the whole collection will hopefully be passed to the safest long term home and images printed off for posterity. Again this will cost time and money. In the mean time LDHS has been given the right to use the Longstanton & District images of the Hilary Stroude Collection to further the Objects of LDHS.
