LDHS Secretary Hilary Stroude presented the society’s first talk in front of Mike Petty’s Fenland History Group at Ely. The talk, entitled Beginnings explains the origins of the society and the work we are doing. Albums of old archive photographs were also on display. Supported by LDHS Chairman, Tony Cowley, the talk was well received and Mike Petty asked us would we come back again at a future date.
