On the last journey prior to the closure of the line. Len Sanders hands over the symbolic key to the train driver. (As a single track branch line the symbolic key was a safety measure. It was passed along with the train driver and you could not go without the key. This system was to ensure that there was only 1 train on the branch line at a time.)
