Wife of Rev. John Goodchild Rector and Vicar of Longstanton, Lilian lived in the village from 1936 until Rev. John Goodchild died in 1944. The daughter and sister of artists James Clark R.I. and Cosmo Clark R.A., Lilian painted a number of pictures of Longstanton scenes. The above shows the rear view of Church Farm which is situated on the High Street near the church. LDHS is very interested to trace the whereabouts of any of the Lilian Clark Goodchild paintings of Longstanton that survive.
