Below are just a few of the Oakington Barracks photographs we have in the LDHS archives. Unfortunately, we have very little detail with the photographs such as regiment names and dates. Can you provide any information on the photographs shown here? So far LDHS has received an enormous amount of information from RAF personnel relating to the days of RAF Oakington. We have received some memories and photographs relating to Oakington Barracks; but we could do with a lot more if we are to understand the army’s relationship with Oakington Airfield and Longstanton.
